⚠️
Important: All resin items from Resin Love Creations are decorative pieces only. They are not food-safe and must not be used in contact with food or drink.
Food & Drink Safety
Resin art pieces — including coasters, trays, bowls and dishes — are purely decorative. Please do not:
- Place food directly on resin surfaces
- Use resin dishes, trays or bowls to serve or store food
- Drink from resin cups, tumblers or vessels
- Allow children to put resin items in their mouths
Fully cured resin is stable, but it is not certified food-safe. If you have any concerns, please get in touch before purchasing.
Sunlight & Heat
Resin is sensitive to prolonged heat and UV light. To keep your pieces looking their best:
- Keep away from direct sunlight — prolonged UV exposure can cause yellowing over time
- Do not leave on a sunny windowsill for extended periods
- Avoid placing near radiators, heaters or open fires
- Never leave in a hot car — resin can soften and warp above approximately 60°C
- Do not place hot pots, pans or mugs directly on resin coasters or trays without a heat-protective pad
Cleaning & Care
- Wipe with a soft, damp cloth only
- Avoid abrasive cloths, scourers or harsh chemical cleaners
- Do not put resin items in the dishwasher
- Do not soak in water for extended periods
- For jewellery, avoid contact with perfume, hairspray and lotions — apply these before putting on your pieces
- Store jewellery in a soft pouch or box to prevent scratching
Children & Pets
- Small items such as keyrings, charms, earrings and pendants are a choking hazard — keep out of reach of young children and pets
- Resin items are not toys and should not be given to young children to play with
Skin Sensitivity & Allergies
Fully cured resin is generally considered safe for most people to handle. However, if you experience any skin irritation or sensitivity after wearing jewellery or handling a resin item, discontinue use and seek advice from a medical professional. If you have known resin or epoxy allergies, please contact us before ordering.
